A female voice actress born in Tokyo. She is currently a freelancer. She gained fame for her role as Makiura Ka in the TV anime 'City Hunter', portraying a spunky and refreshing sidekick heroine in one of the representative action works of the 1980s. She has taken on numerous lead roles in works such as 'Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water' as Marie and 'Sky War Chronicle Shurato' as Shurato, and is also skilled at playing male-acting boy roles. With her calm and androgynous voice quality and delicate emotional expression, she has been a pillar of the industry for many years, one of the top female voice actresses in the field.
