Born in Aioi City, Hyogo Prefecture, and a member of Teatoru Echo, he is a veteran male voice actor and actor. He joined Teatoru Echo in 1969 and has over 50 years of experience. He is known for voicing Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman, and Bob Odenkirk in foreign film dubs, and has also worked on dubs for Bill Murray and Richard Gere. His wife is actress Yuka Kimura.
