Born in Ota Ward, Tokyo Prefecture, Ohira Toru is a voice actor and narrator. He has been the voice of 'Rakugan' since its broadcast began in 1966, delivering his voice to the nation for many years. He voiced Mokuba Fukuzou in 'Ushidearsman' and Homer Simpson in 'The Simpsons', breathing life into many characters with his unique and imposing voice. He passed away on April 12, 2016, at the age of 86.
