Born in Hino City, Tokyo, she began her entertainment career while studying at Horikoshi High School's Performing Arts Course. She made her singer debut at the age of 16. In 1981, she officially entered the voice acting industry, taking on roles such as Yuri in 'Fist of the North Star' and the protagonist in 'Lady George'. Known for her clear and resonant voice, she has often taken on heroine roles. She is currently affiliated with Aoni Production.
