Biography
Born in Tokyo, he is a voice actor and narrator. He is best known for voicing the first Doraemon in the 1973 Japanese TV version of Doraemon. He has been playing Papa in Bakabon for many years, and his whimsical comedic acting has been loved across generations. In 1979, he joined the founding of Production Baobab and took a leadership role. He passed away on September 27, 2020.
