Born in Tokyo, he is an actor, voice actor, and narrator. After musical activities as the vocalist of a punk band, he turned to acting and starred in the film 'Iron Man' (1989), leaving a strong impression. He gained national recognition as the narrator for NHK's 'PROJECT X - Challengers' (2000-2005), and his dry, unique delivery style became a social phenomenon.
Path to Becoming a Voice Actor
After punk band activities, he turned to acting. He accumulated experience in films and stage productions, then moved into narration work, and subsequently began voice acting. Since 2024, he has continued as the narrator for the relaunched 'New PROJECT X'.
