Born in Jozenji, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Currently a member of production Baobab. Grew up in a town known for its silk weaving and Jozenji Festival traditions. A mid-career male voice actor who excels in roles that require a graceful and refined voice, such as Japanese noble gentlemen, the son of a silk weaving house, and characters bearing the weight of traditional culture. Also serves as a consultant for works centered around Jozenji silk weaving.
