Born in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Freelance. With a long career and accumulated skills, he is a veteran male voice actor who appears in numerous works as a freelancer. He is a unique presence in roles of tough middle-aged men and strict commanders. His voice, which combines strength and melancholy nurtured in the beautiful coastal area of Hitachinaka, is respected in the industry as the 'Hitachinaka Voice' (ひたちボイス).

Path to Becoming a Voice Actor

Graduated from a technical high school in Hitachinaka and moved to Tokyo→joined a theater troupe as a trainee→worked with various voice acting agencies before becoming freelance

Personality

While he often plays tough, hard-boiled roles, he is approachable and kind in his personal life, taking good care of his juniors. His motto is 'as deep and vast as the sea of his hometown.'
