Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, Horie Mitsuko is a female voice actress and singer. She is a member of Horipro International and is known as the 'Queen of Anison' for her contributions to Japanese anime theme songs. She is famous for her roles in TV anime such as 'Candy Candy' as Candy and 'Hana no Ko Lunlun' as Lunlun, where she sang numerous theme songs for girl's anime in the 70s and 80s, symbolizing a significant part of Japanese anime music history. Her clear and transparent voice and warm personality have endeared her to many generations, and she continues to be an active and legendary artist.
