Born in Seoul, South Korea, she began her career as a voice actress and singer with CJ ENM's voice acting department in 2003. The following year, she gained popularity for her role as Kaneyama Manaka (Korean name Luna) in the Korean dub of 'Looking for a Full Moon'. Since then, she has taken on numerous roles in anime dubs and video games. In 2010, she held her first solo concert, and in 2013, she released her first studio album, furthering her career as a singer.
