Biography
Born in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Seijo University. After working with theater troupes such as Keidan Kai and Ao Du, he became independent in 1997 and established Gin Production. He is best known for his roles as Nohara Ginzo in 'Crayon Shin-chan', Captain Smoker in 'One Piece', and Hemhem in 'Narutal Mantarou'. He is also widely recognized for his role as the farmer with a battle power of 'only 5' in 'Dragon Ball Z'. He passed away on August 25, 2001, at the age of 49.
Path to Becoming a Voice Actor
After transitioning from stage acting to voice acting, he became independent and established Gin Production, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit. He excelled in playing middle-aged male characters and was an indispensable presence in many popular works.
