Biography
She is the only female voice actress who voices two of Japan's most iconic mascot characters: Pikachu from Pokémon and Tony Tony Chopper from One Piece. Her ability to express rich emotions from Pikachu's 'Pika!' and her performance of Chopper's adorable innocence and emotional crying scenes is highly praised both domestically and internationally. She boasts an overwhelming recognition worldwide, known to children across the globe.
Path to Becoming a Voice Actor
Born in Tokyo. Member of Tokyo Actor's Life Cooperative. Debut in 1990. Gained international fame with the role of Pikachu when Pokémon aired in 1997.
