Biography
Born in Fukui Prefecture, he is a voice actor, actor, and director. In 1952, he joined the New Theatre Research Institute and made his acting debut the following year. He is known for roles such as Berg and Katz in 'Science Ninja Team Gatchaman' and his appearance in 'Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro'. He has been involved in many notable works. Since 2001, he has been dedicated to nurturing the next generation as a director at Gekidan Hieido. He passed away on December 4, 2008, at the age of 77.
Path to Becoming a Voice Actor
He started his career as an actor at the New Theatre Research Institute and expanded his activities to stage, film, and television. Since the 1970s, he has focused on voice acting, appearing in numerous popular anime series. In his later years, he supported Gekidan Hieido as a director.
