Born in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. Member of Tokyo Actor Life Cooperative Association. A veteran male voice actor who grew up in the renowned rice-producing region of Nagaoka. With over 35 years of experience, he has developed a rich and deep voice quality, which he uses to portray roles such as village elders dedicated to rice farming, elderly men who have devoted their lives to rice cultivation, and traditional craftsmen preserving their heritage. He continues to cultivate Koshihikari rice at his family home.
