Born in Jinan, Shandong Province. A renowned voice actor representing the Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio, he gained fame in Asia for his role in the Chinese version of the movie 'Ranpo' starring Ken Takakura. He has a wide range of acting skills, from tough male characters to gentlemanly British roles, and is known for voicing Hercule Poirot in the Agatha Christie series. He is still revered as a master who built the golden age of Chinese dubbing. Passed away in 2001.
